Last night we were the 2nd coldest place on the planet (for those places that keep temperature data) at -46 Celsius ( -50.8° Fahrenheit).  We were edged out by a village in Siberia that hit -48 Celsius.

I grew up in Ottawa, the second coldest capital in the world. I remember walking to school when it was -35. Ugh.

You never want to experience the interesting fact that -40 is the same in celsius and fahrenheit  Wink
